AFC Announces the Formation of its QSR Business Group and Transitions Veronica Gutzmer to QSR Customer Service

Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc. (AFC) is pleased to announce the formation of its QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) business group. The QSR business groups’ central focus will be to provide industry leading service and innovative smallwares to the commercial cooking industry. The QSR operations will be located in AFC’s Lake In The Hill, IL headquarters. Additional manufacturing support will be provided by the AFC, Specialty Belting Division in Adams, MA.

Michael Baker, AFC’s Director of Marketing states, “This business segmentation was developed to support and promote application development, sales, and product advancement to end-users, OEM’s and our QSR distributors. AFC has been a leading supplier into the QSR markets for many years. The objective of this market segmentation is to work more closely and better understand and support our customers. Our goal is to develop a mutually beneficial partnership. One in which we will promote growth and opportunity for both our partners and AFC. We will continue to provide the QSR market segment with a superior level of customer service, sales, marketing and technical support, as well as unmatched experience in the PTFE and Silicone coated fabric industry. In the coming weeks and months we will have additional announcements in respect to the QSR Business Segment.”

As part of the QSR market segmentation strategy AFC announced the transition of Veronica Gutzmer to the newly created position of QSR customer service representative. Veronica will report directly to Michael Baker, Director of Marketing and QSR Business Segment Manager. Michael Baker commented, “Veronica has been a valuable employee and a key member of our QSR team. She has been the primary inside contact for our QSR customers. Her years of experience and expertise in the QSR market will be very beneficial. She understands and is sensitive to the requirements of this industry.” Prior to this move Veronica had worked for AFC in customer service and inside marketing for the past six years.
