Grilled Chicken Pesto Sandwich


  • 2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 Tbsp Dried Basil
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Loaf French Bread
  • 1/3 Cup Pesto
  • 4 Slices, Provolone Cheese
  • 6 Tbsp Roasted Red Peppers



  1. Place DuraChef® Circular Cooking Sheet in pan and heat to medium-high heat.
  2. Butterfly cut the chicken breast into 4 thin pieces. Sprinkle spices onto chicken breast.
  3. Place chicken breast on pan and cook on both sides until chicken is fully cooked.
  4. Meanwhile, slice loaf of bread into 4 sections. Split each section in half and spread pesto evenly on the 4 bottom halves of bread. Set aside.
  5. Remove fully cooked chicken from pan and slice into strips. Place chicken strips onto bread and top sandwich with provolone cheese and roasted red peppers. Place top piece of bread on sandwich.
