Oatmeal Hot Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ground oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or Splenda
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Add oil, milk and vanilla and continue mixing with a whisk.
  3. Place a DuraChef® non-stick cooking sheet over flat pan, no butter necessary. Only add one large spoon full of the mixture and flip when no more bubbles appear.
  4. Serve hot with maple syrup.
