Shrimp & Grits Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Cup Cooking Grits
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 Oz. Cream Cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Parsley, Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Chives, Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 2 Large Egg Whites
  • 1 Lb. Shrimp, Chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine milk and broth in the saucepan and bring to a boil. Gradually add the grits and salt, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes while thick.
  3. Remove sauce pan from heat. Stir in Parmesan, butter, and cream sheese. Stir in parsley, chives, lemon juice, and egg whites.
  4. Place DuraChef® Non-Stick Baking sheet in baking dish. Spoon mixture into baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes
