Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc. (AFC) introduces Chef Pack™, the patented bake-in-the-bag revolutionary cooking solution. AFC’s business partner, Policarta initially developed the bake-in-the-bag technology for baking bread and for the regeneration of bakery products in an oven without opening the packaging. AFC is excited to announce the further development of this product, which expands upon the bag’s original capabilities. The Chef Pack™ has unique qualities which allow the product to be in a controlled environment from factory to customer. The bag holds heat in, which allows the contents of the bag to remain warmer for longer. During the cooking process moisture is released from the bag but no air can enter. It’s this unique quality that allows the possibility of cooking Gluten-Free products alongside non Gluten-Free products without the possibility of contamination. In addition, Chef Pack™ reduces consumable costs because there is no need for external packaging, tray or baking paper, disposable gloves for food handlers, or final packaging to wrap the product.
