SUBWAY and AFC Reach an Agreement for AFC to be the Exclusive Worldwide Supplier of Speed Oven Baskets

Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc. (AFC) is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the Subway® restaurant chain to be the exclusive supplier of PTFE oven baskets to more than 21,000 Subway® restaurants worldwide. AFC will be supplying DuraChef® oven baskets for use with the new TurboChef Technologies rapid cook ovens. AFC began delivering oven baskets to TurboChef, as well as the chain’s re-suppliers Franke and Sub-Technologies in May 2004. “ We are honored to be partnering with one of the largest Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) in the world,” said Bill Lewis, CEO & President of AFC. “This basket is a critical piece to the Subway chain’s upcoming speed oven rollout.
